The greatest basketball player ever to grace the NBA hardwood is selling his Illinois mansion. The 56,000 square foot estate has 9 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms. It boasts a 15 car garage that is heated, just to keep his Chevy warm in those Chicago winters.
Surprisingly, his mansion features an indoor, regulation size basketball court. I’m not sure why he would need that, but you will be reassured to know that the mansion also has an outdoor tennis court and a putting green. Of course the mansion also has an Olympic size pool and a state of the art weight training facility as well.
Apparently however, the real estate prices in Illinois can’t keep up with those on Jupiter Island. Jordan listed the property at first at $29 Million, but the market couldn’t bear that number and he didn’t have any success. The great one had to drop the price to $16 Million to sell it at auction.
