The home run king has scored again. Barry Bonds, former great with the San Francisco Giants, has found a place to call home besides the record books. He often embattled star has built a beautiful Italian style home on a nice sized lot. With 1.85 acres to maneuver around, the risk of paparazzi sneaking near his home drops considerably.
Barry’s mansion takes up a lot of that acreage however. The house encompasses over 17,000 square feet of living space. The unique architecture is obvious from the moment you enter his mansion, as the 30 foot ceilings alone will give you cause to stop and take breath.
The home houses a 12 seat movie theater complex, a 2,100 square foot sports court, and a professionally outfitted gym that he describes as, “commercial grade.” Perhaps this is a glimpse into Barry’s second career during his retirement years. Perhaps this gym will serve him some purpose in the future. As long as he doesn’t start handing out supplements, lotions and gels, he should be fine.
