When you are thinking of popular vacation spots for the rich and famous, Tokyo is not the first city that comes to mind. Seriously, the city that has been stomped into ruin by Godzilla in not one, but two terrible movies is not exactly the name on the tip of your tongue when you are thinking of vacation hotspots.
For some Hollywood elite however, going to Tokyo for vacation is really just a trip to Disneyland, but with a slightly longer flight and probably an in-flight movie. Tokyo’s Disneyland Park is just one of the tourist attractions that bring people to this exotic city. You don’t even have to be rich and famous to stay in the Hyatt or Ritz Carlton at the park, you just need to call ahead for reservations.
This doesn’t stop celebrities like Katy Perry from riding a roller coaster, and it doesn’t stop Lady Gaga from gobbling up the hometown favorite of soy sauce flavored popcorn. Average folks, like you and me, can still enjoy ourselves if we can’t quite afford the high life. The famous Hinokizaka restaurant has a fairly reasonable price point and you can call ahead for reservations anytime.
